About West Liberty, OH
The Village of West Liberty is Ohio's best-kept secret travel destination. Come stay awhile in this quintessential Midwestern small town in the heart of the Buckeye State! MyWestLiberty.com is the information hub of our community. Here, you will find everything you need to know about West Liberty and truly make it yours. Our village abounds with interesting historic and natural attractions. Experience ancient caverns, tour a castle, and try downhill skiing, snow tubing, horseback riding, camping, canoeing, tubing, quarter midget racing, and fishing in one of Ohio's few freshwater trout streams. All are located just minutes away from our downtown. Downtown West Liberty presents a wealth of year-round pleasures for visitors including summer street markets, art and gift boutiques, antique shops, consignment shops, local farm markets, a hometown grocery with fresh cut meats and homemade deli selections, and unbeatable homemade candy in a restored railroad depot. I wanted to share this beautiful new mural at Sherman Ricketts Memorial Park which is the West Liberty Trail head for the Simon Kenton Bike Path. The mural was a gift from the Ricketts family and Mr. Carmen Scott. We are very appreciative of this beautiful addition to the park for our visitors on the bike path.
