February 2024 Business of the Month – Country Legends Concert Series/Country Legends Festival

We would like to congratulate Country Legends Concert Series/Country Legends Festival for being selected as the West Liberty Business Association’s February 2024 Business of the Month.

Country Legends is a concert series that started in 2020. They started out as an LLC but in 2022, they obtained their 501c3 non-profit status for their charitable branch, Country Legends Cares. This business brings entertainment via live music to our community as well as bringing new people to the community.

The business, while it is a full-time obligation, is a secondary business for the owners. They do all the work in house (including design, social media, bookings, etc.) while maintaining their day-to-day jobs. There are 3 officers which include Matt Hull, Jeremy LeVan, and Erin LeVan. Matt is a Project Manager at Humble Construction, and Jeremy and Erin own LeVan’s Excavating. But they also say it takes lots of volunteers to pull off their events! While this business is basically a hobby to the owners, they do spend a lot of time exploring other concerts, venues, or festivals trying to find new ways to improve their own events.

Their entire company is based on raising money for the community and helping advertise what the community has to offer for visitors to come and enjoy. They offer several specials on tickets throughout the year as well as group discounts to allow for company or friend group outings. They say their customers love having quality entertainment in their own backyard. They say the best part about owning a business in West Liberty is hearing people’s excitement, getting compliments for all of their hard work, and seeing people smile when they talk about attending the shows. And according to the owners, “Being a business that relies on support and volunteers, our favorite part about West Liberty is the people.”

A lot of hard work goes into this, and we would love to see every West Liberty resident there supporting and enjoying it.”
