1. When did your business open?
We opened in 1983 and was originally called Liberty-Belle!

2. How many employees are there at your business?
The thrift shop has 2 employees but a wonderful group of over 40 volunteers (and could use more)!

3. How did you start your business?
A group of church members from the 3 different Mennonite Churches had a meeting and decided that West Liberty needed a thrift shop.

4. Why did you start your business?
The shop was started to help support Mennonite Central Committee! That money is dispersed to over 60 countries to help share God's love and compassion, through over 720 projects that focus on relief, development and peace!

5. How did your business get its name?
MCC Thrift Shop=Mennonite Central Committee!

6. What’s something unique about your business that customers might not know?
Except for our 2 managers, everyone else volunteers their time to come and work at our shop and we are always looking to add more people to "The Amazing Volunteers" list!

7. What’s your favorite local area event?
Our favorite event is Christmas in the Village! It fun to see all the visiting family members as they shop Main Street and see many new faces also.

8. Do you have any upcoming promotions, events, sales or anything else you would like to add?
We always try to have sales at the end or beginning of the month. We have silent auctions approx every other month between September through May.
