West Liberty Business of the Month
 We would like to congratulate Bobbi’s Bungalow Guest House for being selected as the West Liberty Business Association’s September 2024 Business of the Month. Bobbi’s Bungalow is an Airbnb/VRBO style of lodging. They are located at 211 N. Detroit St., West Liberty.
Roberta Yoder is the proud owner of Bobbi’s Bungalow. She was the former owner of Yoder Concrete, and she now is Co Owner of Heaven’s Dew Agriculture & Healthy Home. The business opened and had their very first guests in July of 2016. They have no employees as Roberta runs this by herself except at times when she can twist her son’s arm to help with yardwork or her husband with general maintenance. Roberta is a current member and past board member of the West Liberty Business Association. She is also active with both Logan County as well as the Champaign County Chambers of Commerce. For many years Roberta dreamed of opening a Bed & Breakfast. When her husband, Jeff, finally relented, they began searching for the ideal house. After looking at houses that seemed too large, or needed too much work, Jeff suggested looking at this little two-bedroom home. It wasn’t the B&B that she envisioned, but it was exactly what worked for their family and for the community! Roberta had the bathroom reconfigured and tiled, painted the interior, stripped and refinished the original hardwood floor, and gathered the perfect decor to take this little house back to its late 1920’s glory. Bobbi’s Bungalow offers a cozy place to stay for family or friends who come to visit. It is also a great place for businesses to offer for their speakers, trainers and contractors. Week and monthly discounts are available. They also offer a discount for family members who come to visit residents at Green Hills when booking directly through her. Guests regularly comment on how clean the house is and how well equipped it is for anything they might need! They love the character and charm that the decor offers and appreciate the friendliness and guidance that is offered by the hostess. Roberta loves it when guests find joy and comfort in staying at Bobbi’s Bungalow, the way she finds joy and comfort from being there. There are so many touches of her parents and grandparents in the house, and she enjoys sharing that with others. Roberta says she loves the quaint small town feel of West Liberty with shops and businesses who care about the community and in making visitors feel welcome.
